Today, the artist Kelvin Okafor, which is gaining great acclaim for his incredible work, drew my attention.
Kelvin, a 27- year-old Londoner, has caused a stir into the art world with a body of work known as photo-realism. By using black Charcoal and graphite pencils, the Middlesex University fine art graduate has spent around 100 hours over just three weeks completing his drawings known as photo-realism.
Before even starting a piece, Kelvin spends a few days analyzing a photo, concentrating firstly on the subject’s eyes as he shapes the portrait through them due to their importance to the piece.

Kelvin's unique work has seen him become a new darling of the art world winning awards and having exhibits at big galleries.This Friday until the 3d of February he will exhibit at the Works on Paper/Watercolour Fair at the Science Museum in London.
